Well, guess what? You do have what it takes, as long as you do the physical footwork and the mental prepping.
Grab a pen and paper and try this exercise to see what we mean:
Count your blessings.
Write down every single blessing in your life: the physical, the spiritual, the everything. You’ll be surprised at the amount of abundance you already have.
Compile your attributes.
Write down several positive statements about yourself. Are you creative? Kind? Compassionate? A math whiz? Brainstorm with a pal if you get stuck.
Envision your accomplishments.
Now write down your goals as if you’ve already accomplished them.
Instill positive thoughts.
Read your full list out loud to yourself every morning, keeping it handy throughout your day to boost yourself with ongoing positive thoughts.
Don’t give up if you don’t wake up in a week with an overwhelming craving for broccoli instead of chocolate and the endurance of a tri-athlete. Every small step in the right direction is a huge step toward your goals.
